Heaven Official’s Blessing is a Chinese novel writing by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu in 2018. It is a book that I fall in love this year thanks to the very interesting storyline and the enjoyable characters.

For a little of context, the story follows Xie Lian, who was the prince of his kingdom, and he was loved for his citizens and the world. He ascended to the heaven, but thanks to unfortunate circumstances, he comeback to the mortal world, losing all his status. Eight hundred years later Xie Lian ascends to the heavens but this time being the mockery of all gods. But in his first task as a god he meets a mysterious demon who rules the ghost and terrifies the heavens.

In resume is a history of the adventures between a poor god and a king ghost, that little by little discover the corruption of the heaven.

I really like this novel because drag my attention the combination of comedy and tragedy in a form that I like, factors that are include in every stories of each character. At the same via this stories the book touch social problems like the male chauvinism for example the literature God is a woman and the heavens underrated her and the mortals change her image into a man, because in general they connect wisdom with masculinity.

But the principal reason why I like this novel is the relationship between both principal characters because I found it so cute and romantic, being both characters powerful with tragedies in their past that drag them down but they never give up.

So, I highly recommended this novel for someone who want to laugh and cry at the same time, meanwhile is submerged to a mystical world.
